Description:

Frostfin cardinalfish (Eng) – Ostorhinchus hoevenii (Apogon hoevenii) (Lat) (family Apogonidae) – grows up to 6 cm. It feeds on plancton. Depth 5-30 m. Recognizable by white edge on 1st dorsal fin and white dots string on body.

Habitat:

West Pacific - Indonesia, Philippines, Papua
