Prefect cone (Eng) – Conus eburneus (Lat) (family Conidae) – grows up to 8 cm. It feeds on marine worms and small fish. Lives at depths 3-30 meters. Active at night. Recognizable by rectangular brown spots on a white background.

Red Sea, Indo-Pacific - from East Africa and Persian Gulf, Maldives and Thailand to Indonesia, Malaysia,Philippines, southern Japan, Papua New Guinea and Great Barrier Reef
