Whitemargin moray (Eng) – Gymnothorax albimarginatus (Lat) (family Muraenidae) – grows up to 105 cm. It feeds on small fish and crustaceans. Depth of 4-180 meters. Recognizable by a light beige color with a bright white line at the top of the trunk. Is nocturnal, hiding during the day. Prefers sandy or rocky bottom, lagoon or gentle slopes, not steep reef wall |
